Our halls are now filled with bright colors, bird-themed decor, and the refreshing feel of a new season. We hope these decorations bring as much cheer to our visitors and residents as they do to us! Yesterday we celebrated a special birthday! Buddy (Our Life Engagement Manager's Megan's Dog) turned 4 this past weekend. We celebrated with Cookies and even a dog friendly donut. Everyone enjoyed having him visit, and he thoroughly enjoyed having Happy Birthday sung to him.

Today we had our monthly food demo with Chef Aaron. He prepared fresh homemade pasta, What a fun experience! We all got to try the freshly made pasta.

There is something about fresh flowers-they spark joy, inspire conversation, and bring back sweet memories of flower gardening and sunshine. We are working our way toward Spring at Island Shores! Last week, the craft ladies created beautiful fresh flower arrangements to take home with them.

Love was definitely in the air last week at Island Shores. Here are a few photos to share with you. Thank You to everyone who joined us and helped make our Sweethearts Dinner so special. The laughter, smiles, delicious food and sweet moments truly made it a night to remember. There were joyful conversations at each table; it was a celebration of love in all its forms. We kicked off Valentines Day by handing out roses to every resident living at Island Shores.
