Day 1707: Emotions, thoughts and what we do or feel are all linked and
become vicious cycles. Changing one part of the cycle will help improve the situation and help you feel better. If we try to suppress emotions or ‘bottle them up’ there is a danger that we will become overwhelmed and react in a negative or dangerous manner. Sometimes our outbursts can hurt other people or ourselves. The key is to learn how to express how we feel in a healthy, safe manner.
