Today, on World Down Syndrome Day, we celebrate the incredible individuals who make our world brighter, kinder, and more inclusive. At The Lucky Foundation, we are honored every day to work alongside individuals with Down syndrome who inspire us with their strength, joy, determination, and endless potential.

This day is all about raising awareness, promoting inclusion, and celebrating abilities. Everyone deserves the opportunity to shine, to be seen, and to be valued for exactly who they are. 💫

We are proud to support a community where differences are embraced and everyone belongs—both in and out of the saddle. 🐴

We are incredibly honored and grateful to the Wisconsin Horse Council for awarding The Lucky Foundation & Katie Brucks their Special Achievement Award for 2026!

This recognition means so much to our team, riders, volunteers, and supporters who work tirelessly to make equestrian opportunities accessible for individuals with disabilities. Every lesson, every ride, and every smile is made possible because of a community that believes in the power of horses to change lives.
