Jeff Cushman, RPh, is co-owner and managing pharmacist at Neenah Hometown Pharmacy. He graduated from pharmacy school at UW-Madison in 1985 and began his career as a registered pharmacist at a small independent pharmacy, Grand Avenue Pharmacy, in Beloit Wisconsin. In 1988 Jeff joined the Morton Pharmacy team at Morton’s downtown Appleton location and has served the Fox Valley area ever since with the majority of his years in Neenah. In December of 2012, about a year after Morton Pharmacy sold to Walgreens, Jeff partnered with Hometown Pharmacy and opened Neenah Hometown Pharmacy. “I am fortunate to be part of such a wonderful community. I am both honored and humbled to serve patients in the Neenah area. Filling your prescriptions, answering your questions, and providing advice should always be easy and uncomplicated, that’s what I am able to provide at Hometown Pharmacy,” Jeff says. When Jeff is not working at the pharmacy, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Kelly, and his 3 children. He enjoys woodworking (building furniture), gardening, camping, hiking, and boating. As a pharmacist for 34 years, he has dispensed over 2 million prescriptions for hundreds of diagnoses to patients of all ages. He has realized that while the vast majority of prescriptions are necessary and beneficial, the majority of his patients are still not feeling well. They continue to suffer from pain, lack of energy, poor mood, and poor cognition. This realization has led him to look at alternatives to improve patients' level of wellness. Jeff looks at how we can improve our body’s biochemistry to improve energy, mood, thought and our general vitality. This has now become a focus for him to improve health through the proper use of supplements supported with scientific evidence to improve our biochemistry and ultimately to improve your health and vitality.
