Join me and find a comfortable position, lying down, where your body can be fully supported. Allow your hands to rest easily, your legs relaxed, your head gently aligned.

Softly close your eyes if that feels natural, or lower your gaze.

Take a slow, unhurried breath in, and let it go just as gently.

There is nothing you need to do. Nowhere you need to go.

Begin to notice the simple fact of being here.

Quietly awake.
Quietly aware.

Let the body settle under its own weight. Feel the points of contact beneath you steady and supportive.

Allow the breath to move in its own rhythm, without effort. Just observing.

As thoughts arise, let them pass like distant sounds or drifting clouds. No need to follow them.

Return again and again to this quiet presence.

Awake, yet deeply at ease.
Aware, yet without strain.

Rest here, in this gentle knowing.
