It's always a beautiful thing to hear the words of your clients. They truly show me that I am doing just what the Lord has called me to! Here's what one of my sweetie's had to say.....
"I truly don’t think I have enough words to describe how incredible Sherrica is. With my first baby, I had a wonderful doula who set the bar so high, and when she stepped away from doula work I was honestly heartbroken. I was terrified I wouldn’t find anyone who could come close. But then I was referred to Sherrica…and wow! She didn’t just meet my expectations, she brought her own unique gift into my birth and exceeded anything I could have hoped for!
From the moment she stepped into my birth space, she became the calm within the chaos. It felt like having my own personal Jiminy Cricket right beside me. Her voice was literally the only one I could hear through the intensity of labor. When I felt like I was dying, when I wanted to quit (more times than I’d like to admit), her steady, gentle guidance kept me grounded. I remember thinking, “If she’s not panicking, maybe I don’t need to either.”
She supported me emotionally, physically, and mentally every step of the way. She read the room perfectly; firm when I needed a push, soft when I needed compassion. Even when I was internally cursing her for having me curb walk or sit backwards on the toilet, I knew she was doing exactly what my body needed. And she was right.
My family was present during my home birth, and she managed the energy so beautifully. She kept the focus on me, protected my space, and somehow made an extremely painful experience just a little less painful with her presence alone.
Sherrica is warm, relatable, patient, and so incredibly human in the best way. She sees you, she hears you, and she supports you in a way that feels both professional and deeply personal. She is truly gifted at what she does.
I could write a whole novel of all the amazing things she did, but honestly, it still wouldn’t be enough. If you’re even thinking about hiring her, do it. You will not regret it.
