We recently attended the USD #484 Fredonia College & Career Fair where more than 200 students from Fredonia, Neodesha, and Elk Valley gathered to explore post-graduation life.

Heather Odell, Physical Therapist and Director of our Rehabilitation Center shared the benefits of going into physical, occupational and speech therapies. These healthcare services not only provide great compensation but they also are rewarding and fulfilling!

We want to extend well wishes to all of the students in Southeast Kansas and especially hope they consider coming back to work and live in SEK!

This month, we’re proud to celebrate our incredible team of physical therapists and physical therapist assistants who make movement, healing, and independence possible for so many in our community.

At Wilson Medical Rehabilitation Center, physical therapy isn’t just about recovery — it’s about helping you stay strong, balanced, and active for life. Whether you’re a student athlete, an expectant mother, or a retiree who wants to keep up with the grandkids, our therapists are here to help you move with confidence and live without limits.

“So many people believe physical therapy starts after an injury,” said Heather Odell, PT and Director of Rehabilitation Services. “But our goal is to help people stay active before they ever reach that point. Whether you want to keep gardening, playing with your grandkids, or returning to your favorite sport, physical therapy gives you the tools to do that — for life.”

From post-surgical recovery and balance training to chronic pain management and sports injury rehab, our therapists create personalized care plans designed around you. Because your goals are our goals — and every victory is one we celebrate together.

Join us in thanking our rehab team this month for the heart, expertise, and compassion they bring to every session.
