Celebrating Tiffany this month and all the ways she helps make Wilson Medical Rehab a great place to be! Her reliable work ethic, kindness, and sense of humor are appreciated more than she knows. Happy work anniversary!

We wanted to shine a little spotlight on some pretty special teammates this month! These incredible individuals work in different departments across the hospital and clinics, but together they make up our WMC family, and we’re so thankful for each of them. Whether they’ve been with us for one year or forty, their dedication, kindness, and hard work make a real difference every day. Please take a moment to check out the collage and help us celebrate their work-iversaries - we’re lucky to have them on this journey with us!

Thank you to each of you for the heart, dedication, and care you bring to our team every single day! Whether you're comforting a patient, supporting a coworker, or keeping things running behind the scenes, your work matters, and it doesn’t go unnoticed. It’s the little things you do with consistency, care, and compassion that make WMC feel like more than just a workplace - it makes it a place people trust, feel supported, and are proud to be part of. We’re truly grateful for all you do!

PS: We kicked off our monthly anniversary shout-outs a year ago in July, and to keep things fresh (and not just copy-paste the same spotlights), we decided to give it a new look this time around!

We want to wish Amy a happy work anniversary! It’s always a good feeling when someone on the team consistently shows up with the kind of focus, care, and follow-through that helps the rest of their team. That’s exactly what Amy brings. Whether she’s handling a full day of Home Health visits or jumping in to help with inpatient care, she does it with a willingness and confidence that makes things feel just a little more manageable.

From planning visits to guiding patients through their exercises, Amy plays a key role in helping people stay on track with their recovery. She brings patience, know-how, and a down-to-earth approach that helps patients stay motivated and coworkers stay in sync.

Amy, thank you for the way you show up! You’re reliable, thoughtful, and you make the team better just by being part of it. Thank you for being someone your patients and your team can count on. Today we’re celebrating Tom’s work anniversary at Wilson Medical Center, which also includes his leadership and oversight of Wilson Medical Rehab Center! He joined us as CEO in May 2023 after serving ten years as COO at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Mississippi. With 37 years of healthcare experience - and a long track record in executive leadership - Tom brought a wealth of knowledge and fresh perspective to WMC. He also served ten years as an officer in the Army Medical Service Corps, bringing something extra to the way he guides and supports the team.

Tom’s sharp mind for business and strategic thinking stands out, but so does his energy. He’s not one to sit still for long, always moving, always thinking, and always looking for new ways to support the team and keep WMC growing stronger.

Thank you, Tom, for the energy, focus, and direction you bring to WMC! You have a way of showing up that keeps things grounded but always moving forward. Whether you’re jumping into a challenge or just taking time to recognize the team, it makes a difference. Thank you, Tom, for your service to our country and now to WMC. We appreciate you!

🌱💬 May is National Speech-Language and Hearing Month — and we’re celebrating the voices behind the magic!

At Wilson Medical Center, we are so grateful for our speech-language pathologist who make a lasting difference in the lives of our patients—especially the littlest ones. Trish, one of our incredible SLPs, brings creativity and joy to every session. 💙

This month, she guided our pediatric patients through a fun and meaningful project: they planted grass in cups they decorated with faces, watched their little “friends” grow, gave them haircuts ✂️, and made sweet cards to gift their moms for Mother’s Day. 🌿💌

It’s not just therapy—it’s connection, confidence, and care.

Help us thank our amazing speech-language pathologists who help others express themselves, grow, and thrive. 💙

We want to wish Kira a happy work anniversary! As a part-time Home Health Physical Therapist for Wilson Medical Rehab Center, Kira helps people stay safe and independent right in their own homes. She works with patients to build strength, improve balance, and reach goals that matter to them, like walking more easily, moving around without pain, or bouncing back after surgery.

It’s not just about exercises; Kira’s great at figuring out what each person needs and making sure they feel supported along the way. She also helps teach patients and their families how to stay safe at home and keep making progress between visits. And behind the scenes, she stays in touch with the rest of the care team to keep everything running smoothly. It takes a lot of heart, flexibility, and know-how to do what she does, and Kira brings all of that every day!

We’re so fortunate to have you as part of the WMC family, Kira. Your passion and dedication make a difference every day at Wilson Medical. Thank you for all that you do!
