Breastfeeding doesn’t happen every 3 hours
because babies aren’t machines.
Newborns cluster feed to
• regulate milk supply
• calm their nervous system
• support rapid growth
• survive
So when someone says
“Didn’t you just feed them?”
Yes.
And I’m feeding them again.
Because biology doesn’t care
what makes other people uncomfortable.
Breastfeeding is not a schedule.
It’s a conversation between a baby and a body.

Missouri WIC is still working with USDA to determine the status of November WIC benefits.

Just a reminder, food list changes went into effect October 1, 2025. If possible, use the bar code scanner in the app to help you know what foods you can get. If you have issues getting approved items during, check out, please ask to speak with a manager.

Before shopping for your WIC items:
• Check the approved food list at https://health.mo.gov/living/families/wic/approved-food-list.php or on the WICShopper app.
• Know your benefits by checking the WICShopper app or asking your WIC local agency.
