You’re not “too young” anymore. Dr. Beck talks about how Colonoscopies are saving lives.

💙 Colon cancer is showing up earlier than ever
💙 Colonoscopies catch polyps before they become cancer
💙 Removing them = preventing cancer before it starts

It’s not just a screening. It’s protection for your future.

“I didn’t have symptoms… I almost put it off again.”

After delaying his colonoscopy once, Cory decided it was finally time to schedule the screening Dr. Poff had recommended for over a year.

He’s grateful he did.

Colon cancer often develops quietly, without clear symptoms early on. Screening can detect it before it becomes deadly. When treatment is still an option.

Throughout March, we’ll be sharing pieces of Cory's story. His battle though Stage 3 Colon Cancer and why early detection matters.

Central Valley Medical Center is saddened by the passing of George Morgan Jr., a longtime employee and instrumental leader in our Radiology Department. Alongside him, his wife Marge was also a tremendous force within our organization, serving in multiple leadership roles and helping lay the foundation for our clinics. The Morgan family’s dedication and vision have played a meaningful role in shaping what CVMC is today, and their impact continues to be felt throughout our hospital and community.

George’s service extended far beyond our hospital walls. He helped found the Juab County Ambulance Association and created the Sub for Santa program, blessing local families for more than three decades.

His legacy of leadership, generosity, and community service will not be forgotten. We are deeply grateful for the impact he made at CVMC and throughout Juab County.

March is dedicated to raising awareness about colon cancer and the power of early detection. While it may not be a topic people love to talk about, it’s one that saves lives.

Throughout the month, we’ll be sharing resources to help you understand your risk, know when to get screened, and feel confident about next steps. Our oncology and screening teams are here to support you with compassionate, close-to-home care every step of the way.

❤️ It’s Heart Health Month ❤️
This February, we’re focusing on Care that knows your heart because heart care isn’t one-size-fits-all.

Central Valley Medical Center has partnered with the JHS SBO’s to offer coronary calcium scans for $65 throughout the month of February. A simple scan can provide valuable insight into your heart health and help guide next steps in your care.

If you’ve had a coronary calcium scan within the past year, please consult with your doctor to determine whether a repeat scan is recommended.

Call to schedule your scan today!
