✨ Honoring our Ancestors for Pitru Paksha at ✨
Last year (2024) was my first 🌟 initiation into this transformative medicine and I thank one of my mentors & teacher eternally.
💫 Holding sacred space with these women forever changed my life 🙏 and I am eternally grateful. 🌹 So much generational healing took place, and I want to share my experience with you—along with the importance of intention, community, and honoring our ancestors.
We can clear generational wounds and we don’t have to do it alone.
In honor of this auspicious time and for the next two weeks 📿, I invite you to explore Pitru Paksha and discover how these ancestral rituals can purify your lineage ❤️
Here’s a glimpse into what happened for me the first time I was initiated into its sacred medicine:
I came to ceremony unaware that I had been disregarding my entire bloodline on my father’s side. I realized I was holding impossibly high expectations of a man who simply didn’t have the capacity to show up in the way I thought I needed.
When I released those expectations 🕊️, a wall dissolved. A softness washed over my heart 💞.
In doing so, I was able to reconnect with the 50% of my lineage I had cut off because of one man.
I saw that I had been giving my power away and subconsciously blocking divine intervention because I was unwilling to surrender and truly forgive.
About two months after that ceremony, communication with my father opened. He sincerely apologized 🙏, taking full accountability after years of trauma, suffering, and pain.
I never imagined that moment would come. But through ancestral intervention, the support of my sisters, and my devotion to Spirit, it did.
🌸 Today, I have a beautiful relationship with my father—one I had always prayed for.
So, I invite you to reflect on your own journey:
💭 Do you hold high expectations of others?
🔑 Are you outsourcing your healing, waiting for someone else to change first?
💞 Will you allow forgiveness and softness into your heart?
You might be utterly surprised 🌟—just as I was, and still am to this day ❤️.
