✨ some truths coming at you this fabulous Friday morning!

I am someone who often has anxiety in the drivers seat and I loose all momentum on those really difficult days. You wouldn’t really know it, but being vulnerable is so important on those dark days where you feel alone.

Then I remember that I am stronger than my biggest obstacle, stronger than my worst fears, and stronger than my biggest challenge.

Remember, you are capable and you can do hard things! You just need to remember your “WHY” and why your health journey means so much to YOU. 🤍

✨ every new day is chance to be better than yesterday!

Something I ALWAYS tell my clients is the FACT that growth is not linear…

* some days it is hard to show up and complete tasks on your to do list. Self doubt and anxiety creeps in to hinder your motivation.
* some days you don’t always follow your meal plan. Meal planning is tough!
* some days you don’t lift as heavy as you did last week. This is OK, we are humans!

All of these FACTS go to show that you ARE trying and that each day is a gift to be Better Than Yesterday. 🤍🫶🏼

✨ tips to set up for a successful week ahead!

🌞 start by setting a few specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time bound (SMART) goals that create the foundation for the week. The sky is the limit with these, set one or two to get started.

🩵 plan your week, focusing on what matters most to you. Whether that be prioritizing your workouts, meals, self care, errands or setting time aside to relax, it is important to find balance for the week. 🏋️‍♀️ 🍽️ 🧖

🌼 organize your living space, a tidy environment cultivates a productive space for creativity and reduces the risk of distraction.

🦋 most importantly, prioritize a routine that is structured around self care, Balance, and allow for flexibility. Logically, not EVERYTHING can be completed Monday or Tuesday, give yourself grace & flexibility. 🫶🏼

✨ Tips to navigate the weekend… and not “ruin” the progress you made this week! ✨

🍓 continue to nourish your body this weekend, even if you choose foods that you wouldn’t normally eat during the week, it is so crucial to continue to feed your body with the foods that are most important to you.

🍸 if you choose to have a drink or two, try to pick ones that aren’t overly sweet or are made with juice - the sugar will only worsen the headache/hang over the next day! 🥴

🏋️‍♀️ movement is good, and whatever feels right for you… do that! Take a walk, do some yoga, stretch, mindful active movement is still needed, if that is part of your program!

🏖️ Most importantly, enjoy your weekend.
Don’t let the weekend “set you back” and have fun, it’s one of the last weekends of the Summer- embrace it! 🌞
