Ladies In Waiting, International, W.I.V.E.S. (Women In Victory over Emotional Suffering), is pleased to have you join us in our annual “Hooked Up & Knit Together In Love”, Christmas event! We are an organization serving emotionally abused women in Women’s groups, throughout our communities by raising awareness of this often allusive issue. Our primary intent is to ignite focused dialogue, and to create proactive preventive solutions, to the many negative repercussions garnered through lack of understanding of what emotional abuse is-- and more importantly, its far-reaching effects in our society. Our hope is that heightened awareness and education will cause a decrease in these abusive incidents. This project is our annual Christmas event. To this end, we invite anyone who Knits and/or Crochets’, from any location in or out of the Country (USA), to, hand knit & crochet scarves for women who are spending their Christmas in respective Domestic shelters in every State of the Country (USA) and any International Country where there are Domestic shelters. Domestic Violence Awareness Month

In a toxic relationship, it’s easy for outsiders to look at a woman and think she’s blind, naive, or stupid for staying… but what they don’t realize is, she knows. She knows exactly what’s going on. She sees the lies, feels the disrespect, and recognizes the patterns. She’s not clueless... she’s calculating. She’s preparing.
Because for a woman, leaving isn’t just about packing a bag or changing a number. It’s about mentally detaching from someone she once envisioned forever with. It’s about grieving a future that will never happen, untangling herself from emotional manipulation, and re-learning how to choose peace over chaos. That kind of exit takes strength most people will never understand.
She might still cook for him, sleep next to him, smile on the outside while dying inside... but she's already detaching. She’s not staying because she doesn’t know her worth. She’s staying because walking away while you're still emotionally tied is a trap. You’ll keep going back. And she refuses to do that.
So she waits… she heals in silence… and when that mental switch flips and her spirit is numb to his excuses, his charm, and his fake apologies… it’s done. She’s already gone long before she physically walks out. And when she does leave, don’t expect a warning. Don’t expect a tearful goodbye. Don’t expect closure.
Because when a woman finally leaves a toxic relationship from a place of clarity and peace... there’s no turning back. She doesn’t run, she walks. And she doesn’t just leave the man... she leaves the version of herself that ever tolerated less than she deserved.🫶🏽

Abuse doesn't have to be physical to be devastating and dangerous. Abusers will use psychological abuse to control, belittle, and terrorize their victims. Further, it's important to note that abusers have been known to use technology to complete psychological abuse.

HAWAII HORROR: DOCTOR BEATS WIFE WITH ROCK, TRIES TO INJECT HER DURING MOUNTAIN ATTACK
A romantic hike turned into a brutal fight for survival when Maui anesthesiologist Dr. Gerhardt Konig allegedly attempted to murder his wife, Arielle Konig, in a chillingly premeditated attack.

🚨 LURED TO THE EDGE
The couple was hiking the Pali Puka Trail in Honolulu when Konig suggested they take a selfie near a dangerous cliffside. Sensing danger, Arielle refused and turned to walk away—triggering a violent outburst.

Konig shoved her into the bushes, pinned her down, and began smashing her head into the ground. He then grabbed a rock and struck her at least 10 times while yanking her by the hair.

🚨 THE SYRINGE ATTACK
As Arielle fought back, Konig pulled out two syringes filled with an unknown substance and tried to inject her. Authorities suspect he intended to drug her—potentially to finish the attack in a way that left no evidence. Arielle managed to wrestle the syringes away, but she was outmatched.

🚨 A NEAR-DEATH ESCAPE
As Konig continued his merciless assault, a hiker named Amanda heard blood-curdling screams for help. When she arrived at the scene, she saw Konig straddling Arielle, beating her head with a rock.

Amanda’s presence stopped Konig in his tracks. He fled the scene but was later caught after a brief police chase.

🚨 NOW FACING JUSTICE
Konig has been charged with attempted murder and is being held on $5 million bail. Authorities are now investigating what was in those syringes—a chilling question that could reveal an even darker plot.

🔴 This is what domestic violence looks like. It escalates. It kills.
Too many victims don’t get a second chance. Arielle barely did.

🚨💔 It's important to recognize the signs of teen dating abuse. Imagine a scenario where Alex constantly checks in on Jamie, demanding to know where they are at all times. At first, it feels like care, but soon it turns into control. Jamie starts to feel isolated from friends and family because of Alex's jealousy. This isn't love—it's a warning sign. Let's spread awareness and support each other! If you or someone you know is experiencing this, reach out for help. You're not alone! 💪❤️
