Ness County Hospital The Ness County Hospital is a licensed Critical Access Hospital with 22 beds providing acute, skilled and intermediate care.

In additional to the hospital is our Rural Health Clinic and Long Term Care Unit. Ness County Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital with an attached 30-bed long term care unit located in southwest Kansas. We provide emergency medical care, inpatient & outpatient nursing services, laboratory, radiology, home care and physical therapy services. Outpatient clinics are scheduled throughout the year to provide necessary medical care to our community without a long traveling distance. Such clinics include diabetic, cardiology, orthopedic, and surgical consults. The newly remodeled Ness City Medical Clinic provides health services to the community throughout the week, covering everything from illnesses, routine care or injuries to women's health and pediatric check-ups. Ness County Hospital is the largest employer in Ness County. We provide excellent benefits and on-site educational opportunities.

The Director of Housekeeping and Laundry is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hospital’s housekeeping and laundry departments. This role includes supervising and scheduling staff, working alongside team members as needed, managing departmental purchasing and budgets, and ensuring all areas meet hospital standards for cleanliness, safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Do you love leading a team and cooking from the heart? We’re looking for a Dietary Manager who can bring organization, compassion, and homemade goodness to our hospital kitchen.

✨ What you’ll do:
• Direct & supervise dietary staff
• Complete nutritional assessments, care plans & progress notes
• Plan menus, develop recipes for healthy, homemade meals
• Manage department purchasing & budget
• Serve as the liaison between dietary & other departments
• Ensure compliance with regulations, policies & guidelines
• Manage staff schedules and time efficiently

🎓 What we’re looking for:
• 2+ years of food service experience (preferred)
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Must have or be willing to obtain a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification
• Ability to cook quality, homemade meals
• Strong leadership & time-management skills
