Every time I pick up my drum, something ancient rises behind me as well as within… My ancestors breathe down my spine. And with every song I sing, there is always an echo I feel behind , a voice that sings with me. My well-being lifts. There have been many ceremonies I’ve turned around to see if someone was standing there, only to realize it was the unseen elevated ones, supporting every beat.
We have so much guidance available when we tune our hearts antennas to it. Find it in the silence. Find it in the music. Find it in the small rituals that thread your days together. In a world full of fracture , betrayal, turmoil, righteousness mixed with confusion, and a collective forgetfulness, Find it in the simple needs that nourish our shared humanity, connection, our love. It is so easy to believe we are alone.
Easy to forget that this 3D reality is only one thin layer of existence. Yet we are wired to connect and be in relations to way far more…To the spirits of the Earth, of the Cosmos, and to the ones who walk with us even when we cannot see them.
There is a higher intelligence pulsing through everything …through music, through rhythm, through this moment, through this photograph. Deep gratitude for .pagano for this incredible art and the joy of being witnessed in this way. I feel honored especially for the temple that is my own body, my own heart, to be tended through her lens. Her devotion to her art pours through every frame.
This drum brings me home to Earth medicine, to the elementals who steady me. The ancestors who wish my well being…Thank you to the maker of this drum soul brother, artist, spirit listener whose hands shaped this from the Earth herself in my ancestral homelands of Anatolia. Teşekkürler 🙏🏽
These are tender times, friends and also glorious. Heartbreak is revealing what’s real. People we trusted fall away, and those we once pushed away rise as protectors. Nothing is quite what it seems. The old structures are breaking apart, and life keeps asking us to return to what’s true.
May we soften into that truth.
May this day open us for deeper connection, more honest abundance, and a wider capacity to share what we carry with those who need it most. May we choose inclusion over separation, remembering that, in the end, we belong to one human family.
May this art stir something in you… Tell me what you see here ???
