Our volunteer Klip Dagga is enjoying the unseasonably fair start to autumn. This herb is much more striking after the vibrant orange flowers have emerged, but this one will need some protection soon if we want flowers. Klip Dagga thrives in full sun and is not frost tolerant. We have some more Klip Dagga plants that we will bring inside to finish its cycle.

Have you ever seen some beefy tomatoes and thought 'I know exactly what to do with these bad boys -- sun-dried tomatoes in olive oil' ...just us? 😅 Oh, well. These tomatoes started with a pink Himalayan salt brine then cut and dried. Drying makes the taste so much more concentrated -- making sun-dried tomatoes a shining star all on its own for pasta, pizza and so much more.

We'll be setting up in Nevada, MO for the 59th annual Bushwhacker Days. Friday after 6pm and Saturday 9am-8pm (or later). Come visit with us about our local herbal products, buy a cup of iced tea and some fidgets for the kids and kids at heart.
