Updated Hours Due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus)
Dear Nevada Vision Clinic patients, friends, and community members,
Our top priority is the health and well-being of our patients, families, staff and community. In this unprecedented time, we are deeply committed to keeping everyone safe.
In accordance with the recommendations by the CDC, we have decided to temporary close our practice starting Monday, March 23rd. We believe that this closure will allow us to more effectively evaluate this dynamic situation and assist in following the CDC’s guidance on social separation.
If you have an appointment scheduled with us this next two weeks, our office will be in touch to help reschedule your appointment. We will have staff in the office occasionally answering calls and retrieving voicemails as they arise. If you have orders to pick up, please reach out by phone and we will determine the best way get that product to you. If you need to order contact lenses to get you by until normalcy returns, please call the office and we will work out a plan to get product to you with free shipping to your home.
There WILL be an optometrist on call in the event of an emergency. Should you require emergency care, please call our office as you normally would, talk to staff or leave a voicemail, and Dr. Schmidt will work with you to get care as necessary.
We did not make this decision lightly. A great deal of care, research and planning guided our decision. We will continue to evaluate the situation as it evolves and determine on a weekly basis when it is appropriate for us to return to our normal business hours.
Again, please understand that we are making this decision with the health and well-being of our patients, our families, our team and our community in mind.
We wish all of you continued health and strength during this challenging time.
Sincerely,
Robb Schmidt, O.D. and Staff
