Did you know that you may be able to receive care from a Physical Therapist without a referral from your physician? Under Direct Access legislation, patients are able to visit a physical therapist when you feel the need to see one.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂:
☑More control over your care
☑Quicker evaluation, consultation & treatment plans
☑Faster return to work, play & daily activities
☑Freedom to choose your therapy professional

While Direct Access provides you with an immediate physical therapy option, there are some provisions to take into consideration:
➡Most third-party insurances will cover. It is important to check with your insurance carrier to confirm.
➡Treatments/visits can occur up to 10 visits or 30 days. If treatment is needed beyond that timeframe, then a physician will need to evaluate & give a referral to resume.
➡Conditions evaluated beyond the scope of practice for the therapist will require referral to a physician.

All of our clinics will be closed Friday, July 4th to allow staff time with their families for the holiday.

NRMC is excited to welcome Dr. Colby Smith to our team of physicians. If Dr. Smith looks familiar that's because he's a Nevada High School alumnus - coming back ℍ𝕆𝕄𝔼 to serve his community as a Family Practice physician.

Dr. Smith plans to join us late summer & will be located at Nevada Medical Clinic.
