The caboose at Earp Park is officially sporting its historical decals, adding that perfect finishing touch and bringing authenticity back to this incredible piece of Nevada’s railroad history.

After the fresh coat of paint—made possible by the generosity Capitol Construction and Homebase, along with support from our amazing community and a matching grant from the Nevada/Vernon County Community Foundation —seeing these decals go on is something special.

A huge thank you to Belles Graphics & Printing for donating your time and expertise to complete the decal installation—we appreciate you being part of this project!

This project has taken so many hands, so many hours, and so much heart, and it truly shows. From prep work… to painting… to now these final details—this caboose is something our entire community can be proud of.

Take a minute next time you’re near Earp Park and check it out… it’s worth it. 👏👏

As a society, it’s important to take care of our vulnerable populations. The elderly, as that’s where we’ll all be someday. And our youth, as they will be the ones we rely on to take care of us. Ensuring they have an environment that is nurturing, supportive, structured and consistent are some of the many things they require to be well rounded adults.
