Michael Lee Hansen Jr

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Michael Lee Hansen, age 66, of Cordova, Tennessee, who left this world unexpectedly on July 21, 2025. Born on February 21, 1959, in San Francisco, California,

After proudly serving in the U.S. Navy for four years, Michael returned to civilian life, where he demonstrated his entrepreneurial spirit by founding his own lawn care company, Ultra Green Lawncare.

Michael is survived by his niece, Jaclyn Houston (Johnathan), sister-in-law, Teresa Hansen. He is preceded in death by his parents Anna Hamra and Michael Hansen Sr, his brother Patrick Hansen.

In honor of Michael's life and legacy, burial services will be held at Glenfield Funeral Home & Cemeteries on August 1, 2025. The graveside service is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM. Friends, family, are invited to join us in remembering Michael.

He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever remain in the memories of those who loved him.

Geraldine Orman

Geraldine Orman, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on December 14, 1934, in Mississippi, Geraldine dedicated her life to her family and her passions, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth that will forever be cherished.

As a proud homemaker, Geraldine's days were filled with gardening, sewing beautiful creations, and nurturing her family with kindness and devotion. Her love for her children, Steven (Bridgett) and Chris Orman, She delighted in playing with her grandkids; Mark Orman, Mack Walls, Ethan Brooks, Cody Phillips, Levi Orman, and Leighann Orman, great-grandson Chrisian Griggs Orman who will be arriving in October,the joy they brought into her life was immeasurable. Geraldine's caring spirit extended beyond her immediate family; she was also a loving sister to Ann Taylor, Maxine Willis, and Joe Lumpkin, and a supportive sister-in-law to Janie and Judy Lumpkin. She will be remembered fondly by a host of nieces and nephews whom she adored.

Geraldine was preceded in death by: Overa Griggs, Luther Griggs, Leslie Orman, John Lumpkin and Gary Lumpkin.

In addition to her nurturing role as a homemaker, Geraldine shared her creative talents as a hairstylist and contributed her skills to the community by working in a furniture factory. Her zest for life and unwavering dedication to her passions are lasting reflections of the remarkable woman she was.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 23,2025 from 5:00- 7:00 PM at Glenfield Funeral Home in New Albany, MS. A second visitation will take place on Friday from 1:00 PM-2:00 PM at Glenfield Funeral Home. With a celebration of life service to follow at 2:00 PM.As we gather to honor Geraldine's memory, May her spirit continue to inspire and uplift all who knew her.

In Lieu of flowers, family kindly requests donations to help honor her memory through contributions toward her funeral service which can be made at Glenfield Funeral Home.

Anna Lynette Hamra

It is with heavy hearts and fond memories that we announce the passing of Anna Lynette Hamra, who left this world peacefully on July 6, 2025, at the age of 88. Born in Mississippi on November 16, 1936. Anna dedicated her life to her family and her career, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her.

She was a member of Hope Presbyterian Church in Cordova, Tennessee, where her warm smile and generous spirit touched the lives of her fellow congregants. Anna's passion extended beyond her work; she cherished her family deeply. She is survived by her loving son, Michael Hansen, and daughter-in-law, Teresa Hansen, as well as her cherished granddaughter, Jaclyn Houston. Anna took great joy in her great-grandchildren, Cameron, Lucas, and Lily Houston, whose laughter filled her home with love and light.

Anna was preceded in death by: Phillip Hamra, Ernest Moorman, Anna Moorman, Billy Moorman, Gene Moorman, E.L. Moorman, Kathryn Allison, Patrick Hansen.

In her leisure time, Anna was a vibrant soul who found joy in gardening, where her love for flowers blossomed alongside her own vibrant spirit. She enjoyed playing Scrabble, cards, and Mexican Train dominoes, activities that brought her friends and family together in laughter and camaraderie. A frequent visitor to TJ Maxx and a keen admirer of real estate, Anna's zest for life remained evident in every aspect of her daily activities.

Anna's legacy will be celebrated with a visitation on Friday July 11, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Glenfield funeral home. Following will be a Celebration of Life service at 12:00 PM where family and friends will gather to honor her remarkable life. Anna will then be laid to rest at Glenfield Memorial Park in New Albany, MS.

As we remember Anna Lynette Hamra, we take comfort in the love and kindness she shared throughout her life. Her spirit will continue to inspire those she leaves behind, and she will forever remain in our hearts.
