Obituary
Scott Lee Brandenburg, “Scottie B”, 54, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away suddenly on February 9, 2022, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Visitation and services are to be announced soon and will be held at the Tri-County Shrine Club, 701 Potters Lane, Clarksville, Indiana. The family has chosen cremation and has entrusted Scott Funeral Home with his care.
Scott was born on January 13, 1968, in Louisville, Kentucky to Cecil and Doris Brandenburg and was raised alongside 2 siblings. He attended and graduated from Jeffersonville High School and served his country in the Army. He went on to marry the love of his life, Tammie Mathews-Brandenburg on July 8, 2006; he had four children. He was employed with UPS for 5 years as a Semi Truck Driver. Scott was a Master Mason of Pythagoras Lodge, New Albany, Indiana, and a member of Tri-County Shrine club and a Kosair Shiner in Louisville, Kentucky.
Scott loved his family and considered everyone as family. He was known for his sense of humor and his big heart. He had nothing bad to say about anyone. “He was the best Dad and husband ever.”
Scott is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Doris Brandenburg. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 15 years, Tammie Mathews-Brandenburg; his four children, Scott A. Brandenburg, Alexsis Brandenburg, Shelby Ramos, & Summer Mathews; his 10 grandchildren; his siblings, Alice Brandenburg & Mark Brandenburg, and many other family members and friends that will all miss him very much.
In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made in Scott’s memory to Kosair Charities, 982 Eastern Parkway, Louisville, Kentucky, 40217.
