The nineteenth pose is Fixed Firm Pose (Supta-Vajrasana) This pose helps cure sciatica, gout and rheumatism in the legs and prevents hernia. It strengthens and improves flexibility of diaphragm, hips, lower spine, knees and ankles. It slims thighs, lubricates joints, and prevents diabetes and varicose veins.

Pose eighteen is Bow Pose (Dhanurasana). The last pose in the spine series, it share the same benefits as the previous three. It increases spinal strength and flexibility, relieves back pain and improves function of the intestines, liver, kidney and spleen. It opens the chest, permitting maximum expansion of the lungs and increasing oxygen intake, accelerates circulation of spinal fluid, and improves digestion. Cobra also reduces symptoms of gout, herniated disc, sciatica, and tennis elbow, strengthens the immune system, and revitalizes the thyroid. Like Full Locust, it helps relieve lumbago, rheumatism and arthritis of the spine.

We will offer at least one Hot Yoga class every day except Christmas Day. It is a perfect way to add balance to your life!

Tree pose improves posture, balance and grace. It prevents hernia by strengthening the internal oblique muscles and relieves tension in neck and shoulders. It creates hip & knee mobility, and tightens gluteus maximus. It also releases inflammation of the lower back and is good for circulatory disorders, arthritis and rheumatism.

It improves pancreatic functions and flexibility of sciatic nerve. It develops concentration, determination and patience and improves memory.

Pose three, Awkward pose, strengthens and firms upper arms, thighs, calves and hips. In this pose, you use all major muscle groups and reshape lower muscles. It is improves digestion, joint pain, and immune disorders, increases blood circulation in the knees and ankle joints, and opens pelvic area.

We offer modifications for each pose, and you are always welcome to take a break and lay on your mat. It takes several sessions to acclimate to the heat.
