💛 Our “Words We Live By” Staff Series Continues 💛

Today we’re honored to feature Amy, our Director of Operations, as we continue sharing meaningful motherhood wisdom from the women who serve families every day at Choices Life Resource Center. ✨

“My advice to moms is~ the cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow, for children grow up, as I’ve learned to my sorrow. So quiet down, cob webs. Dust go to sleep. I’m rocking my baby and babies don’t keep.”

In a world that constantly tells moms there’s more to do, Amy’s words are a gentle reminder of what truly matters. The dishes can wait. The laundry will still be there. But the little arms reaching for you, the bedtime snuggles, and the moments spent rocking your baby are fleeting gifts that pass far too quickly.

Motherhood isn’t measured by a spotless house it is measured in love, presence, and the memories we create with our children. 🫶

💛 Our “Words We Live By” Staff Series Continues 💛

Today we’re honored to feature Heather, our Corydon Administrative Assistant, as we continue sharing the wisdom and experiences of the women serving families at Choices Life Resource Center. ✨

“Soak up every moment of motherhood, even the hard ones. Because, the days may seem long, but the years are oh so short.”

Motherhood is made up of countless ordinary moments the sleepless nights, busy mornings, messy houses, belly laughs, bedtime snuggles, and everything in between. In the middle of it all, it can be hard to realize just how quickly time is passing.

Heather’s advice is a beautiful reminder to pause and treasure every season, even the difficult ones, because one day we’ll look back and realize those moments became the memories we hold closest to our hearts. 🫶

What a beautiful evening celebrating the incredible legacy of Mary Munford.

Our hearts are so full after seeing so many friends, volunteers, former clients, church family, and community members come together to honor Mary and the impact she has made through her faithful service at Choices Life Resource Center.

Thank you to everyone who came, shared memories, gave hugs, and helped make the night so special. Your love for Mary was felt in every conversation and smile.

Today was a truly special day at Choices.

Our morning began with an encouraging devotion from Pastor Paul Deary centered on John 3:17. It was a beautiful reminder that Jesus came not to condemn us, but to save us. We were encouraged to silence the voice of our inner critic and rest in the grace, love, and freedom God offers each of us.

Before the doors opened, we shared coffee, laughter, and the joy of doing life together as a team. Those moments of connection remind us of how blessed we are to serve alongside one another every day.

Then came the sweetest part of all, spending time with so many wonderful clients and their precious babies. Every conversation, every tiny smile, the miraculous ultrasounds, and every opportunity to encourage a family reminded us why we do what we do.

We are grateful for days filled with faith, community, and the privilege of walking alongside families and every season of life. .
