How are your New Year resolutions going??
The “January reset” can be difficult to stick with but by being specific with your goals, you can help yourself reach your (new or current) habit goals!
Tips for Making Healthy Habits Stick below:
1. Make a timeframe to reach your goals: give yourself 3 months, 6 months, or until the end of the year.
2. Make your goals specific: being vague about your goals makes it harder to know if you’ve reached them or not. Try “I want to lose 3lb” instead of “I want to lose weight”.
3. Know that it takes time! Habits take around 21 days to actually become a habit!!
Other tips:
-Track your progress on paper or on your phone
-Reward yourself along the way
-Get back on track if you need to
