Daylight savings time on its own can definitely leave you feeling off, but this is also the beginning of kapha season and the qualities of kapha can leave you feeling sluggish and fatigued when they are in excess.
Here are some helpful tips from Carrie on how to better deal with daylight savings time and kapha season.
🌅 Wake with light – Get outside within the first hour of waking, even for 5–10 minutes. Morning light helps reset your biological clock.
🥘 Keep meals consistent – Try to eat at regular times to stabilize digestion and energy.
🏃 Move early in the day – A steady, intentional practice before 10am reduces kapha heaviness and builds grounded vitality.
😌 Wind down intentionally – Dim lights earlier than usual and minimize screens to help the body settle.
