Hey beautiful people. Kim here. Today is our anniversary, and as much as I would have loved a big celebration, that just wasn't in the cards for us this year. It's been a challenging year, and it felt selfish to spend funds we don't really have on a big party... especially when so many folks in our community are struggling. And it felt selfish to ask you all to buy stuff from us, so we're looking for your help in a different way.
When we opened Sukhino 7 years ago, on November 8, Graham and I committed to giving back to the community in any way we could. And we recommitted to that when we opened the doors to Sukhino Express Wellness a year ago today. In fact, one of our core values is "Take Good Care", and we strive to do that for our guests, for our teammates, and for our community. So this year, we're asking you to help us celebrate in a way that feels really good for our hearts, and in a way that means so much more. Many folks are really struggling right now, between rising costs and losing access to assistance programs that don't have funding.
So we hope you'll join us in offering up what you can - even one item, when added with an item or two from someone else, can make a big difference. This month, we'd love your help in gathering supplies for one of our TWO donation drives in New Albany, and we'll enter your name in a drawing to win 2 service credits to the location where you donate goods.
1️⃣ At Sukhino Express Wellness (137 E. Market Street Suite 102): We're accepting the following:
🥫canned goods
🥫boxed cereal and pasta
🥫pasta sauce
🥫mac and cheese
🥫peanut butter
🥫full size hygiene items (soap, shampoo, etc)
🥫diapers
2️⃣ At Sukhino Float Center & Salt Cave (802 E. Market Street Basement Level): We're accepting the following:
🧦 socks (any size for all genders)
🧦 underwear (any size for all genders)
🧦 small hygiene items (travel size or small items like shampoo, toothpaste, etc)
