While we were at Longhorn Steakhouse, our resident, Trudy, found a picture of her family's farm on the wall, along with a picture of the school house she attended. 🖼️ 🚜

Trudy grew up on a tulip farm just down the street from where our community stands today and her father took great care and pride of the land.

In the photo, you can see a windmill on the same farm. The joy on Trudy’s face when she saw these pictures almost brought tears to our eyes. 🥹

She loved being able to share her memories with close friends around the table.

Hearing their stories made us more proud and honored to be surrounded by these heroes every day.

Our cookie recipe this month featured a no-bake method! 👏🍪

It surprised us how simple this was and we had a grand time sharing memories of our favorite holiday cookies. This time, we decided to make chocolate oatmeal!

In honor of Oktoberfest, we rolled, twisted, and shaped dough into that signature pretzel shape! 🥨😋

Our community was filled with the smell of fresh baked breads and our residents loved making them so much that we almost ran out of dough!
