Yesterday got to drive this awesome westy mk1 rabbit from NH for .

Little back story behind the car. It’s a 1980 rabbit diesel that was bought by a doctor, he ended up passing away from a heart attack. It then sat in the parking lot of the hospital for a year. For the wife to then have it sit in their garage for 15 years. The car was then sold to couple people after that. The previous owner bought it as a rolling shell and put a 1.6 diesel with a 5 speed transmission. This mk1 is awesome all around. 42 years old patina look and catch’s the eye of everyone driving by.
