This initiative represents a pivotal advancement in our commitment to providing specialized and intensive mental health support. We're also extremely excited to introduce Megan Smith, LICSW, and Elizabeth Byrnes, LMHC, who will be leading this new initiative.

We're confident this new OCD & Anxiety IOP will be a cornerstone of our services, providing truly specialized and life-changing care.

At South County Psychiatry, we are committed to providing quality mental health care for the residents of Eastern Massachusetts. Founded by psychiatrist Dr. Anthony Gallo, our practice is built upon 13 years of treating patients and a deep understanding of physical and mental health and how the two affect each other. This extensive experience allows us to provide our patients with the best possible treatment available, leading to happier and healthier lives.

Beginning with a psychiatric evaluation, we currently offer medication management and therapy for treatment of depression, anxiety, PTSD, dementia, ADHD, and sleep disorders.

As practitioners of psychiatry, we are focused on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of these conditions; and we would be glad to help formulate a treatment plan that's just right for you.

We use medications, psychotherapy and trans-cranial magnetic stimulation.

We accept United Healthcare, Neighborhood Health Plan, Blue Cross, Medicare, Aetna, Tricare, and Tufts insurance coverage; and also offer a reasonable rate for patients whose insurance plans we do not accept.

Located near the New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park in New Bedford, MA.
