DON'T DIE WITH YOUR DEAD.

Did you know that when you cry for your dead, you cry for you and not them?

You cry because you “lost them”, because you don’t HAVE THEM by your side. You think it all ends in death. And you think they are NOT there anymore.

So if you’re dead no more, where are they?

Yes they have left, or they are now somewhere else, is that place better than this?

Yes, definitely that place is better than this; so Why do you suffer for their departure?

When you have finished accepting that they are no longer "NOT here", but they are still in another place even better than this, for they’re where they are no longer sick, or suffering.

Then you'll stop mourning them and you'll get them back in memory so they keep accompanying you with the joy of all that you've lived.

If you truly loved them LOVE them AGAIN and this time with greater strength, with greater purity, with greater delivery.

Today, there will be no more reproach of any kind.

Only LOVE, will be the essence between you, between us, between them.

I respect your pain, and the way you express it. I know you cry and you will cry without comfort.

But .. Today I say to you:
Don't die with your dead.

Remember we are only seeing one side of the coin (death).

We are not looking the other way; we are not seeing the wonderful place of light where they stand.

What if we start seeing “death” as a Second Birth?

Second Birth we ALL will go through.

Don't die with your dead, honor them by living your life as they would have wanted you to.

Let them transcend.

And you keep living.

TO THE WOMAN WHO IS SLOWLY FADING AWAY...

To the woman who has lost her spark.
To the woman whose get up and go, has well and truly gone.
This is for you.
This is to remind you whose daughter you are.
This is to remind you, that you don’t have to be everything to everyone, every day.
You didn’t sign up for that.
Remember when you used to laugh? Sing? Throw caution to the wind?
Remember when you used to forgive yourself more quickly for not always being perfect.
You can get that back again.
You really can.
And that doesn’t have to mean letting people down or walking away.
It just means being kinder to you, feeling brave enough to say no sometimes.
Being brave enough to stop sometimes.
And rest.
It starts the moment you realise that you’re not quite who you used to be.
Some of that is good, some of that is not.
There are parts of you that need to be brought back.
And if anyone in your life is not okay with that... they are not your people.
Your people will be glad to see that spark starting to light up again.
So, if you have been slowly fading away my friend, this is the time to start saying yes to things that bring you joy and no to things that don’t.
It’s really pretty simple.

This is Ashley. She has 90 days of sobriety. ❤️💪🏻

“I eventually got sick and tired of being sick and tired. I hit rock bottom and there was nothing left for alcohol to take from me except the air out of my lungs and the beat from my heart. So with what little strength I had, I started to fight and when I made it to the side of recovery things started to fall into place little by little. Recovery allows you to create the person and life you want, it gives you another chance, resilience and strength you never knew you had, forgiveness you could never find, wisdom and knowledge to not want to go back, comfort and happiness that you deserve, a sense of freedom that you longed for. And as for the pain I once endured, I know that it’s purpose was to share my story to help others.”

My name is Madison. I'm 22 years old from Fayetteville, AR. am a recovering addict & domestic violence survivor. My sobriety date is August 16th. I'm 100 days clean and sober today.

My childhood was rough. I was in and out of foster care, adopted at 3. I was abused alot until I was 14. That's when I turned to drugs. I used M**h for the first time at 17 and have struggled with it since.

My addiction was at its worst when was 20. I relapsed shortly after giving birth to my daughter. My bestfriend raised her while I went on another binge for over a year and a half. I was homeless and constantly in and out of jail. It didn't matter what I had to do, I would do it.

My turning point was my last relationship. Over the span of 8 months he beat me up more times than can remember. Then on August 13th, he attempted to kill me. I left state immediately and came to treatment in Los Angeles on 8-20-22.

I came to treatment to get sober and deal with my trauma. attend meetings, as well as daily groups. My hobbies now are journaling and reading.

I love to hear other people share their stories. I share mine today in hopes that some girl out there has the courage to make a change as I did.
