Learn to Lead Yoga Classes Like a Pro
Juliet has condensed her 300 YTT’s pedagogy portion into a digestible and invigorating course. All in person, this course offers you the insight to expose the aspects of being a teacher that you never knew you were holding back on.
Being a yoga teacher in 2025 means a different thing than it did in 2015 0r even a few years back. It requires a teacher to have a better understanding of leadership, of how to relay knowledge, how to adapt on a dime, and how to be actively (not passively) inclusive.

Hi there’s a lot to say but overall the just of it is, School of Yoga New Bedford is now GOOD COMPANY COLLECTIVE.

#1 I won’t be posting on here hardly anymore because we simply don’t want to sell anything anymore

#2 Highly suggest that you visit our new website. There is a greater explanation of how this came to be and why it’s cool for us to depart from yoga and to embrace a new way of having a space.

#3 If you liked my rants follow me on substack where I will really get down to the nitty gritty behind a paywall 🥸.

#4 I’ve said it before, if you are tired of yoga culture and the appropriation done around its origin and native and historical traditions and meanings, we’ll find us over here. We embrace what was learned in yoga but have evolved to say - movement is a movement.

#5 Lastly we now have these offerings/happenings at our space:

classes- MBPR (movement, breath, posture, rest), NIGHT MOVES, and SOMATIC SESH

movement therapy- CHIN UP is 1:1 sessions for pain management, tissue rehab, athletic performance enhancement & more

not for profit- youth led and youth centric yoga, breath work & communication organization serving the greater New Bedford area

art- performance art through somatic exploration and interpretive dance

education- yoga nerd club full options for affordable education coming soon
