Today we kicked things off with a team meet & greet for our brand new team — Flurry Force! It was an incredible start to what’s sure to be an amazing season!!

At Flurries Unified All-Stars, our coaches are more than just cheerleaders—they’re mentors, motivators, and changemakers.

Our coaching team comes from all walks of life—healthcare workers, special education teachers, preschool professionals, and students in early education programs. But what they all share is a deep personal connection to the special needs community and a heart for inclusion.

Every one of our coaches volunteers their time not just with Flurries, but with various Special Olympics sports throughout the year. They’re committed to seeing children for who they are—not for their limitations, but for their limitless abilities.

Their mission is simple: to inspire every athlete to shine, grow, and believe in themselves, regardless of disability. Because at Flurries, we don’t focus on what sets you apart—we celebrate what makes you amazing.

We’ll be signing registration forms for both Flurry Force and Special Olympics MA, reviewing the season schedule, and answering any questions you may have!

We’re so excited to welcome new athletes to Team Flurry Force — our Special Olympics cheer team for athletes in middle school and up who need limited support on the mat. This team is proudly part of the Special Olympics community and brings together athletes of all abilities to shine on the mat! 🌟

This past Saturday, we had the absolute honor of cheering on Coach Hope as she took the stage to compete for Miss Massachusetts. Hope is more than just a coach — she’s a role model, advocate, and true champion for inclusion, kindness, and community. From an athlete herself to now a coach, she gives her heart to raising awareness, raising funds, and donating her time to support the Special Olympics of Massachusetts and beyond.

Hope, please know — you made the Flurries so proud. 🫶🏻💜❄️ And how about those amazing Hope pins we rocked?!

Flurries Unified All Star Cheer is more than just a team — it’s a community where every single child belongs.

Here, ability is never a barrier. Whether your child walks, wheels, talks, signs, or simply smiles, they have a place — a purpose — on this team.

Flurries sees the heart of each athlete. They celebrate what makes every child unique and create space for their strengths to shine. It’s not about fitting into a mold — it’s about building a team where everyone is valued, supported, and truly seen.
