Every athlete deserves to be seen, celebrated, and cheered for. 💫

At Flurries Unified All Stars, Inc., we are always looking for meaningful ways to showcase our athletes — their incredible strengths, their growth, and everything that makes them who they are.

Our Basketball Flutter Cup is the first of our Flutter Cup Series, created with one purpose at heart: to give our athletes a space to shine while being surrounded by a community that truly believes in them.

It’s a moment where families, supporters, and friends come together to cheer loud, feel the joy, and celebrate the amazing abilities of the athletes we are so proud of.

This is just the beginning — and we can’t wait for what’s ahead. 💙🧡

💜 Weekly Gratitude 💜

A lot happened this week—both in the gym and behind the scenes.

Our board has been hard at work planning fall programming and exploring a potential new opportunity this spring. There’s so much intention that goes into building programs that truly support our athletes, and we’re thankful for the teamwork happening behind the scenes.

While snow kept our basketball program off the court this week, we’re grateful to be rescheduling for next week. That pause also gave us time to keep working on the Flutter Cup, and we’re excited to share that the Westport Police Department is sponsoring this event for us. More details coming soon—make sure you’re following our Flutter Unified Athletics page 🏀👀

On the cheer side, we’re thankful for two strong practices as competition season gets closer. Flurry Force has just three practices left until their first competition, and we can’t wait to roll out some specialized Flurries competition cheer gear to help our parents and supporters show up in style 🎀✨

Rie’s Readers is grateful to be gearing up for an exciting spring with multiple book donations planned. One of our favorite parts of this program is making meaningful connections with teachers and classrooms, spending time reading to local students, and sharing our love for books and reading.

Thank you for being part of this journey across all of our programs. We’re so grateful for this community.

After some shoveling, cheer practice said “not today, snow” 🎀💪

💜 Weekly Gratitude 💜

This week reminded us that when you share your mission with the right people, incredible things begin to happen.

We attended our very first One Southcoast Chamber meeting and had the opportunity to network, share our mission, and truly feel the love. The reception we received was incredible—in the best way. When you get to talk about inclusion, opportunity, and the amazing things happening within our organization, people really listen. ✨

We’re also incredibly grateful to share that we secured sponsorship for our baseball season, and we can’t wait to share more details on that very soon! ⚾❄️

Our cheerleading practices were full of growth, confidence, and teamwork, and our athletes continue to show us just how fabulous they truly are.

We cheered loud and proud for Southcoast Storm II as they hit their highest score ever at competition this weekend. Being welcomed into their space and supported as part of their community is something we never take for granted. 💫

Week two of basketball brought nonstop smiles, laughter, strong gross motor skill development, and some pretty amazing slam dunks to end the day 🏀🙌

Week after week, we are reminded why our mission matters. Our hearts continue to be filled, and we are so thankful for our athletes, families, volunteers, partners, and community who make all of this possible.

Different gyms, different sports — same heart, same mission. Watching our athletes try new things, build confidence, and feel supported right where they are is what makes these days so special.

We are so proud of every single one of our athletes — their effort, their courage, their smiles, and the joy they bring into every space mean everything to us.

From poms to passes, mats to mini hoops… this is what Saturdays are made of.
