Yackels EyeCare, L.L.C. is a private optometry group providing complete family eye care in the convenient setting of Target Optical. We provide comprehensive eye examinations for the prescribing of glasses, contact lenses, and general eye health exams. We screen for cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration. We use state of the art technology, computerized refractions, and digital retinal imaging. Dr. Todd Yackels was born and raised in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin and attended Lakeside Lutheran High School in Lake Mills and the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Dr. Yackels graduated from the Ohio State University College of Optometry in 1991 with a Doctor of Optometry Degree (O.D.) as well as a Master’s Degree in Physiological Optics (M.S.). In over twenty years of practicing optometry, Dr. Yackels has had much experience in different clinical settings including medical clinics, private practice and has been with Target Optical in New Berlin for seven years. He practices full-scope optometry with special interests in contact lenses, children’s vision, and eye disease treatment and management. Dr. Yackels has been a member of the American Optometric Association and Wisconsin Optometric Association, and He resides in West Bend with his wife Tammy, and children Kayleigh and Connor. When not seeing patients he has a wide variety of outside interests including medieval history.
