I’m still in processing mode and recovering from co facilitating our retreat this past weekend with . My body is tired and my brain is spinning and needing a break. But it was so absolutely SOUL FILLING to witness our guests individual journeys and their collective ability to share space and hold space for one another so beautifully. I’m so grateful to have been part of it along with .healing.arts and . Big thanks to for once again bringing his artist’s eye and camera to capture our weekend so well. More to come.

Ok, don’t laugh. This is one my most prized possessions. I’d been looking for one for a long time and Christian happened to find one at Walgreens last year. I use it EVERY NIGHT. I put it under my neck or between my shoulder blades while I’m reading in bed. Then, when I am ready to sleep I put it up against the pillow between my legs (which keeps my hips aligned and my back doesn’t hurt- if you’re over 40, DO THIS) and hold it to my belly. It holds its heat for a long time and I get the MOST delicious sleep. My husband giggles and says it’s like I’m 80 with how much I love my hot water bottle. Sometimes it’s the simple things. ❤️

Just over two years ago, this tragedy rocked Waukesha. It rocked the massage therapy community as well, reminding us how easily this career could be potentially taken away from us. I remember the Go Fund Me's and the support that rallied around her, but I never met her in person. Now she rents with me.

I'm so excited to be part of her next chapter of independent practice as Rising Phoenix Massage Therapy. And I am so inspired by her grace and generous spirit.

As for the stranger who attacked her, serving 40 years in prison, Amber Fuller said she rarely thinks of him, and when she does: "I have pity for him. He had his troubles."

I took this picture earlier today because I wanted to capture a moment of such momentous gratitude tears were streaming down my face. I was sitting in this quiet room in this beautiful retreat spa, comfortable and warm. I loved the feeling of my paperback book in my hands at the same time resonating deeply with the words I am reading. Basking in the connection this time together has given to my soul mate and I. Sun streaming into the room. I look up and see this beautiful snake plant in a basket. The place in my book being kept by the MOST beautiful bookmark gifted to me by a client for my birthday. All day I’ve been vibrating SO HIGH and I’m pretty sure so has my husband because we realized after coming home that WE FORGOT OUT SUITCASES AT SUNDARA. (We checked out in the morning but wanted to hang out a few more hours- like ya do- and left them with the front desk.) The fact that we pretty much just shrugged our shoulders and said “Ok, I’ll see you in 4 hours.) We obviously were so blissed out that we completely forgot about them, BUT ALSO in such a good place mentally, emotionally, and so in sync that we didn’t for ONE SECOND blame each other or freak out. I’m inspired to attempt to stay on this plane on which I am currently existing.

LOOK AT THIS FACE! I guess she was excited to see me! I have seen this beauty almost every day on her socials and I’m so grateful she posts her life like she does so we all can bask in her joy. (I haven’t seen her in person in probably 3 years- the last 2 she’s been living in a land down under 🎶) She is one of the best humans, so gracious, kind and lives SO BIG. Also, the BESTEST hoop dancer that ever swung a hoop. So beautiful to watch. We made some magic for her today for her birthday, and it filled my soul right up to the top. I can’t believe I was sleeping on this mask! GM Collin launched their sheet mask MONTHS ago and as one their Master level estheticians I get one new launch product for free (yay, me!)

Last night I thought I’d give it a go and HOLY CATS! First I was impressed beyond words that it doesn’t just flop onto the face and you have to be somewhat horizontal in order to not have it fall off. It adheres BEAUTIFULLY and smoothes into all the areas you need some extra attention. I left it on for 20 minutes and when I took it off I was definitely glowing but the level of PLUMPING of the skin I just couldn’t believe. I am fully sold and I will do this mask a couple times a month for sure!
