ECU Health Behavioral Health Hospital Opening Fall 2025

The ECU Health Behavioral Health Hospital will open its doors in September of this year. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned in August to celebrate the opening of the new facility, which will provide a healing environment for those in need of behavioral health care.

The new hospital is a joint effort with Acadia Healthcare, a national leader in behavioral health care services, and will offer 144-bed inpatient beds including 24 inpatient beds dedicated to serving the behavioral health needs of children and adolescents – the only such beds within 75 miles of Greenville. June is World Infertility Awareness Month.

Mark your calendars for the hometown fall festival of the season!
The Town of Burgaw Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department is excited to host Autumn Fest again this year, taking place on October 19, 2024, in downtown Burgaw 🍂

This one-day festival is a family-friendly event that will look to attract those of all ages in Burgaw and surrounding areas.

There are going to be lots of chamber members, businesses, & vendors participating!
Kids activities include face painting from Funomenal Faces, inflatables from Bounce House Wilmington, a petting zoo from McNally’s Farm, and displays from the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher. No Sleeves Magic will also make an appearance for a one-hour magic show.

Featured bands include Massive Grass, located in Burgaw, and Rivermist, based out of Fayetteville.
