📣 📣 Alright, alright, alright...after closing down my brick & mortar consignment shop in July 2022, life has handed me a few lemons, it may have taken me a few months, but I've made lemonade! I'M BACK, with so many beautiful things to get posting -- it's RIDICULOUS! The past few months, I cheered myself up by going "junkin" or thrifting and to some auctions to find all these wonderful vintage & antique pieces. Happy buying!! 💋

I worked from home as a mother of 2 and another business owner, off and on for many years, I found myself alone more times than in with anyone. I also did my “time” working the health care industry, as that’s my primary education. After a while, before going completely crazy, I decided it was time to do something I really enjoyed...thrifting. I love a good deal and I love helping others! After much thought, prayer and research, I decided to open a consignment shop here in my local hometown, New Bern, NC . The thought of consigning furniture and home items is something we don’t have here. This is an old concept in a new market. Due to upper scale class that New Bern is, furniture and finer home decor is perfect! New Bern is rich in history, rich in coastal ideas, and rich in diverse culture. If you are a native as I am, or just passing through, please stop in -- I’m sure you will find something here at Black Bear Market that will spark your interest either old or new! Things change within the shop every single day!
