Craven County Government offices will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026 in observance of Memorial Day. Offices will reopen on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.
♻️Solid Waste Convenience Centers will be closed on Monday (as usual). Curbside pickup routes will operate as normal.
🚌CARTS will offer limited operations for dialysis trips.
🛝Parks will remain open during normal hours.

Join Community Collaborative for Craven County Children - C5 for our annual Pinwheel Garden & Parade to raise awareness for Child Abuse Prevention Month! This Friday we will be "planting" the pinwheel garden at the First Citizen's Sculpture Park at 11:30am followed by a parade downtown New Bern- ALL are welcome!💙

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for our area until 8:00 PM on Monday, March 16, 2026.

Avoid travel and be prepared to shelter. Stay alert for additional information.

Craven County Government facilities will be closed for the remainder of March 16. Essential services, including law enforcement and emergency services, will remain operational.

Breast and cervical cancers are most treatable when found early.
