We wanted to introduce our newest Receptionist 🥳. Jiji (Gigi) holds a master’s degree in Veterinary Biomedical Sciences from Lincoln Memorial University and a master’s in Biomedical Science with a focus on Organizational Development from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine 📚. With a strong background in veterinary anatomy and a passion for helping animals 🐈 and their families 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒, she is committed to creating a warm, welcoming experience for every client who walks through our doors.

This case was in a raccoon. This is a reminder that this deadly virus is a problem here where we live. Please make sure your pets are vaccinated! By the time we see signs that an animal is infected with the rabies virus, there isn’t anything we can do to save them.

With Heat Advisory warnings be aware! People and pets alike can become overheated easily.

Brachycephaic breeds (Boxers, French bulldogs, etc) or long coats (Husky, St. Bernard’s, etc) are more susceptible. 😥

Taking pets for walks in the early mornings or evenings helps with exercise during the cooler portions of the day. 🦮

First-aid for Heatstroke:
Move pet to a cooler area. 🥵
Cool pet with water or fan. 🪭
Provide fresh water. 💦
Seek Veterinary Care immediately. 👨‍⚕️🩺
