☀️ Heat Advisory in Effect – Stay Safe & Stay Cool! 💧

With temperatures soaring and a heat advisory in place, it’s more important than ever to protect yourself and your loved ones from the extreme heat. Here are a few simple tips to help you beat the heat:

✅ Stay Hydrated – Drink plenty of water throughout the day, even if you don’t feel thirsty. Avoid sugary or caffeinated drinks.
✅ Stay Indoors – Limit outdoor activities, especially during peak heat hours (10 AM–4 PM).
✅ Cool Off – Use fans, air conditioning, or visit a cooling center or public library if you don’t have AC.
✅ Dress Light – Wear lightweight, loose-fitting, and light-colored clothing.
✅ Check on Others – Keep an eye on elderly neighbors, young children, and pets.

🚨 Signs of heat exhaustion: heavy sweating, weakness, dizziness, nausea, and headache. If symptoms occur, move to a cooler place and seek medical help if needed.
