🌧️ Sometimes even a rainy day can’t slow down a clinic.
During clinic on March 12th, high winds and heavy rain brought an unexpected roof leak. Our Practice Manager, Kelly, quickly stepped in to investigate and keep things moving while patient care continued. We’re currently working to schedule a professional assessment so we can better understand what happened and address the issue properly.
Moments like this remind us that behind every clinic day is a lot of work that happens outside the exam room. Preventative building and equipment maintenance helps ensure our clinical team can stay focused on what matters most—caring for our patients. ❤️
🔧 With that in mind, we are looking for skilled maintenance volunteers who are willing to lend their expertise from time to time. If you have experience with general maintenance, construction, HVAC, plumbing, or repairs, your help could make a big difference for our clinic.

What an incredible way to start the day! Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Before Business Hours, New Bern Area Chamber of Commerce mixer at MERCI Clinic. The energy was high, the connections were meaningful, and the MERCI Clinic trivia was on point!

Huge thanks to the Chamber team for a fantastic job — it truly made the morning fun and engaging. And a special thank you to The Flame Catering and Banquet Center The Flame Catering and Banquet Centre for providing a delicious breakfast that fueled a great start to the day!
