Today marks 5 years for NB Pharmacy ❤️

Our contract with ESI Commercial was not renewed. This means if you work for a commercial entity and have prescription insurance through them we will no longer be able to bill them soon.
Your plan name is directly below your price on the leaflet in your bag, the plans included will say express scripts, ESI, Medco, bcbs of Texas

This does NOT include federal blue cross blue shield, or any Medicare(65+) bcbs plans.

There are many types of plans, but in summary if you are affected and taking brand name medicine or generic meds and paying $0 we will be letting you know it would be cheaper for you to use another pharmacy. If you are taking generic meds and paying a copay that copay may remain the same or may change slightly.

We have lots of wonderful customers and we hate to see any of you leave. We will continue to do our best for this community.

This decision is tough, but the new contracts offered would result in losses significant enough to force closure.

I would encourage everyone to reach out to our state representatives and support House Bill 2978 to end reimbursement below costs by ESI.
