we love hearing all the wins, shifts and changes happening for our practice members! 🫶🏽

noticing these changes can be small at first, what is that you notice after you get adjusted?

04/29/2026

you don’t stop being a high-achiever just because you become a mom or a business owner…
you just get really good at pushing through.

this season of my life looked like discipline, consistency, “doing it all”…
but underneath that?

my nervous system was overwhelmed.
it looked like:
- running on empty but not being able to rest
- feeling touched out, overstimulated, and still saying yes
- crying over small things and brushing it off as “just a phase”

and i still kept going… because that’s what we’re taught to do.

especially as women.
especially as mothers.

but here’s the truth i had to learn the hard way:
- your body doesn’t care how strong you are or how much you can handle, it will always ask you to slow down when it needs safety.

and if you don’t listen to the whispers… it will get louder.

if you’ve been feeling “off,” stretched thin, or not like yourself lately... this is your sign to pause and check in 🤍

part 2 coming soon: what slowing down actually looked like for me (and how i supported my nervous system) đź‘€

welcome to the series:
moments my nervous system told me to chill the heck out 🤍

stay tuned for real, honest and vulnerable moments of my life where my nervous system told me to chill the heck out and I didn’t really listen.

you’ll hear stories about moments in my life where I was stuck in survival mode and how I took care of myself afterwards.

healing your nervous system isn’t about being perfect…

it’s about being present with yourself—and with what’s coming up.

in our practice, these are some of the ways we know healing is unfolding:
• you start to feel more, not less: as your awareness increases, you may notice tension, patterns, and body signals in a new ways.
• decisions feel easier: when your nervous system feels safe, you become more grounded, connected, and aligned.
• you respond instead of react: that pause? that space? that’s a regulated system learning it’s supported.
• your capacity expands: when practice members share that life feels more manageable, that they can hold more without overwhelm—we know their system is strengthening.
• your breath deepens: when your nervous system feels safe, breathing becomes easier.
• your rest feels more restorative: the bodies ability to shift into a restful state is huge, it tells us that we are no longer in a fight or flight mode.

this is what healing can look like: subtle, powerful, and built over time.

not linear, but always moving forward 🤍

a few of my favorite pages to turn to when i want to better understand healing, vitality, and the language of the body — not from a place of fixing, but from a place of listening.

here’s what to expect from each:
* Molecules of Emotion — a beautiful reminder that your emotions aren’t just in your head… they live in your body. this one connects the science of how we feel with how we heal
* The Fifth Vital Sign — reframes your cycle as a vital sign, not an inconvenience. empowering, eye-opening, and especially important for women wanting to understand their hormones + overall health
* The Biology of Belief — dives into how your thoughts + environment shape your biology. a powerful perspective shift on how deeply connected your mind, body, and healing really are
* The Polyvagal Theory — helps you understand your nervous system in a deeper way — why you feel the way you feel, and how safety, connection, and regulation actually work
* Wild Feminine — a softer, more intuitive look at healing. this one speaks to the feminine body, creativity, and reconnecting with yourself in a grounded, embodied way

you don’t need to read them all at once, just start where your body feels curious.
healing isn’t about having all the answers, it’s about learning how to listen a little closer 🤍

tired… but wired?
that constant feeling of being “on,” even when you finally have time to rest...

that’s not a lack of discipline or you not knowing how to relax

that’s your nervous system doing its job!!

a little too well….

survival mode can look like:
– overthinking everything
– feeling on edge or easily overwhelmed
– tension that never fully leaves your body
– exhaustion that rest doesn’t seem to fix
and while this state is protective...

it’s not where you’re meant to live…

chiropractic care offers a space for your body to begin shifting out of that pattern, not by forcing change but by supporting your nervous system as it relearns safety, regulation, and ease!!

your body isn’t broken, it’s been adapting all along
and it’s allowed to come back to balance 🤍

if this resonates, i’d love to support you

what chiropractic care looks like with us: little ones edition 🤍

tiny bodies, big stories and we take our time listening to both.

this care looks like…
• slow, gentle touches (never rushed)
• meeting your little one exactly where they are
• honoring their cues, their cries, their comfort
• creating a space that feels safe—for them and for you
• supporting growing nervous systems, not “fixing” babies
• celebrating every milestone (and every messy, in-between moment)

because your baby isn’t something to be corrected, they’re someone to be understood.

this is care with heart.

if you’ve been looking for a softer approach for your little one, you’re in the right place ✨
