Oh ELFIE! At it again. 🎄
Why Fee-for-Service?
You pay a ton for insurance, so it’s natural to want to use it every chance you get, right? Totally understandable—but the real question is: at what cost?
Insurance companies are a major reason healthcare feels broken. They’ve taken away providers’ ability to spend real time understanding what’s actually driving a patient’s issue. Even worse, they dictate what treatments clinicians can and can’t use—regardless of what’s best for you.
They’re also the reason you might pay $2,000 for an MRI that I can get for $400 out of pocket.
If your priority is your long-term health and well-being, you deserve a provider who treats you, not a diagnosis code. Someone who can actually think, evaluate, ask questions, and tailor care to your body—not throw a one-size-fits-all protocol at your symptoms and hope it sticks.
When it comes to pain, we have to figure out what’s actually aggravating it. Those patterns can feel random or inconsistent, but when we really look at both the aggravating and relieving factors—and understand the stresses placed on your body—the root cause becomes clear.
Here’s the thing:
That takes time.
Time to ask the right questions.
Time to listen.
Time to deliver real care.
Insurance reimbursement rates simply don’t allow that level of attention or expertise. And we refuse to compromise the quality of care we give.
That’s why we’re out-of-network with insurance companies—so we can focus 100% on helping you get better, for real.
If you’re ready for a different approach—or feel like you’ve tried everything—reach out.
