Closing a Chapter — Thank You All
Closing this business isn’t easy—and truthfully, it shouldn’t be. When you build something from the ground up, put your name on it, and pour your time, money, and heart into it, walking away carries weight.
Starting a business in this country has been one of the most rewarding and humbling experiences of my life. This is the only place in the world where you can have an idea and make it real—no matter where you come from. That’s not opinion. That’s fact.
We started Caledonia as a lifeline during the pandemic. We took our life savings and bet on ourselves. No backup plan—just grit, pressure washers, and the belief that we could figure it out.
We made mistakes. We learned fast. We cleaned everything from driveways to 200’ silos. We supported our family, helped others, and built something real that I’ll always be proud of.
To Redbird Trucking LLC—thank you. You were pivotal in our growth, and your support will never be forgotten.
To my wife—thank you for standing by me through every good decision and every bad one. You never flinched.
Being part of the small business community has been nothing short of amazing. It changes how you see the world—you don’t just pass businesses anymore, you understand what it takes to keep the lights on.
This isn’t the end. Caledonia will be back. In some form, in some business.
Don’t be afraid to fail forward.
Thank you again.
