Exciting News: We’re Moving!

We’re thrilled to announce that August 25th will be our first day in our brand-new clinic space!

What does this mean for our current and future patients?

More space – Both of our physical therapists will now have dedicated treatment areas.

More availability – With expanded capacity, we can offer more appointment times to better fit your schedule.

New equipment – We’re adding a treadmill, recumbent bike, assault bike, and a Pilates reformer machine to better support your recovery and fitness goals.

New Location, Same Great Care

Welcome Samantha Benitez, PT!

Samantha brings 18 years of experience as a Physical Therapist across orthopedics, acute care, inpatient rehab, LTAC, home health, and aquatic therapy. She has a strong background in outpatient orthopedics, manual therapy, and geriatric care, along with certifications in strength training, prenatal fitness, CrossFit, and aquatic arthritis instruction.

A mom of three and outdoor enthusiast, Samantha has recently focused her career on Pelvic Health—driven by a passion to support an often-overlooked population and create a safe space where patients feel seen, heard, and empowered.
We’re so excited to have her on the team!

🤱Never be afraid to reach out for support from an experienced Lactation Specialist ⁣
🤱Supplementing with formula should not be discouraged or shamed. In fact, it can be a great option for a lot of Momma’s 🙋‍♀️⁣
🤱Ask for help, your spouse can wash bottles and pump parts or take care of baby after a feed. ⁣
🤱Feed baby whenever you please, whether in public or not ⁣

BUT sometimes it can also bring Constipation 😬⁣

This happens when we are out of our routine, drinking less water and eating more processed foods. ⁣
⁣
Want an all-natural remedy for increasing bowel regularity?? ⁣
⁣
Here you go:⁣
⁣
-1 Cup Applesauce ⁣
-1 Cup Unprocessed Wheat or Oat Bran⁣
-3/4 Cup Prune or Cranberry Juice⁣
⁣
Mix it all together. Start with 1-2 tbsp each morning mixed with OR followed by 6-8oz of water. This should help to soften and improve bowel frequency within 2 weeks. ⁣
⁣
Still struggling, slowly increase to 3-4 tbsp. Can be stored in fridge or freezer. ⁣

Like and Save for later! This would also be great to use Postpartum!

𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘴 𝘢 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩𝘺 𝘉𝘓𝘈𝘋𝘋𝘌𝘙??⁣
⁣
The bladder is a hollow organ that consists primarily of smooth muscle referred to as the detrusor muscle. Its main function is to store urine from the kidneys and then to expel the urine through the urethra. The role of both urine storage and emptying/voiding is controlled by the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems. ⁣
⁣
As your bladder fills with urine, the stretch receptors in the bladder signal a spinal cord reflex. This is usually when you get the urge to use the bathroom.⁣
⁣
In order to empty the bladder, the nervous system, the external sphincter of the urethra and the pelvic floor muscles must all work together. ⁣
⁣
A healthy bladder and pelvic floor will allow you to delay the urge to go to the bathroom until it's an appropriate time. The pelvic floor muscles contract and assist in delaying the urge to use the bathroom. When it is time to empty the bladder, the detrusor muscle contracts and the pelvic floor muscles and the external urethral sphincter relax. ⁣
⁣
What are signs that your bladder is healthy?? Read the list below to see how many you are able to check off: ⁣
⁣
✔️Ability to maintain bladder control up to 2-5 hours at a time⁣
✔️Empty efficiently with a steady urine flow, no need to push/strain to fully empty⁣
✔️No pain or discomfort while urinating ⁣
✔️Color of urine is a weak lemonade color⁣
✔️When you have a strong urge to urinate, you can walk slowly to the bathroom without losing control/leaking⁣
⁣
