Yes! We are open but taking precautions.

We would like to update you on some of our new policies to help protect our patients. We are now utilizing a no contact check in and check out process. If for some reason we do need to collect something from you for scanning such as insurance cards or ID, we will use fresh gloves while we handle your documents. We are also adjusting our physicians schedules to limit the number of patients in our waiting area to allow for social distancing.

Also new, we are offering telemedicine via video calls for our return patients. These appointments will be scheduled by our office staff. We will be using Skype to perform these visits with our patients. This is a free download available on your phone, tablet or computer. There are some guidelines set forth by insurance companies to allow for this type of visit which our staff will verify for you.

As you know, in the last several weeks there have been constant adjustments in guidelines, rules and recommendations placed by both the federal and state agencies. We want you to understand that we are monitoring and following these new changes daily and will continue to do so to ensure your safety.

If you would like to be scheduled for a telemedicine appointment or have any other questions regarding this message, please call us at 830-387-4427

Sincerely,

The Foot and Ankle Surgery of New Braunfels Team
