First Step Friday bustin loose today! This patient has a congenital very short transmetatarsal amputation. This can be difficult to manage but Ritchie Limb and Brace, knocked it out of the park with the custom laminated partial foot prosthesis. This includes a Coyote pre-impregnated posterior strut that provides energy return to the patient as she moves through toe-off. That strut is modular and can be changed from the rigid "work" strut to the medium "casual" strut by the patient when the extra support is not needed. This gal is hard charging and requires a device that enables her to push the limits. Go get em!!

First Step Friday is killing it!! Simplicio is doing great in his new bilateral transtibial prostheses!! Variable cadence all the way! He's got a super positive attitude and he's working hard in physical therapy at New Braunfels Regional Rehabilitation Hospital.

We have this "house plant gone wild" that needs help! It was given to us at our Grand Opening in New Braunfels in 2016. I can't believe how the time has flown by!! We helped many folks exceed thier prosthetic goals since that time!! Praise God!!
This plant is beautiful but I think it needs a trim. Please send suggestions on how to do this without destroying it.
