A high school freshman has made an extraordinary discovery through a simple science fair project: oregano oil can outperform the widely used antibiotic amoxicillin in killing bacteria. In the experiment, just a single drop of oregano oil was able to eliminate 100% of the bacterial samples tested, showcasing its potent antimicrobial properties.

Oregano oil contains compounds such as carvacrol and thymol, which have been studied for their ability to disrupt bacterial cell membranes, effectively killing harmful microorganisms. While antibiotics like amoxicillin are carefully dosed and prescribed to treat bacterial infections, natural alternatives like oregano oil demonstrate remarkable potential in laboratory settings. This discovery highlights the power of natural compounds and opens new avenues for exploring alternative antibacterial solutions.

The significance of this finding goes beyond the science fair. With antibiotic resistance becoming an increasing global concern, discovering natural substances capable of combating bacteria could play an important role in future medical research. Studies like these underscore the importance of curiosity, experimentation, and scientific thinking at any age.

While more research is necessary to determine safe and effective applications in humans, this young researcher’s work is a reminder that innovation often begins with small, thoughtful experiments. It also reinforces the idea that anyone, regardless of age, can contribute to scientific progress and challenge existing assumptions.

This breakthrough serves as an inspiring example of how observation, curiosity, and experimentation can lead to discoveries that may shape the future of medicine. It highlights the untapped potential of natural compounds in healthcare and emphasizes the importance of encouraging young scientists to explore and test their ideas.

This article is interesting. I also treat the cervical lymphatic chain when following the THOR protocol for Alzheimer’s/Dementia, Parkinson’s and Strokes.

🧠 Scientists have discovered a remarkable way to double the brain’s waste clearance system—not with drugs or surgery, but simply by massaging the skin.

A team from the Institute for Basic Science (IBS) has shown in mice that gently stimulating the lymphatic vessels under the skin of the face and neck can dramatically boost cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) flow. This process helps flush out toxins and waste products from the brain, including harmful proteins linked to Alzheimer’s disease. Using a specially designed mechanical stimulator, researchers restored CSF drainage to youthful levels in aged mice, suggesting a safe, non-invasive strategy to improve brain health.

Even more exciting, the study mapped previously unknown drainage routes from the brain to superficial lymph nodes through facial lymphatics—pathways that remain active even in older animals. This discovery completes the anatomical picture of CSF outflow and hints at future wearable or clinical devices designed to enhance brain cleansing.

While more research is needed before human applications, this gentle mechanical approach may open the door to new therapies aimed at preventing or slowing neurodegenerative conditions like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.

Full-body sessions just got even better. Added 2 more panels to the existing treatment. New package pricing available. Full-body treatment is great for stimulating lymphatic drainage, reducing oxidative stress in the cells, improving blood flow, and increasing ATP production through the mitochondria increasing energy levels. Great benefits for the skin as well 😊

Researchers have created a powerful new tool that destroys cancer cells using nothing but light and a special dye already used in hospitals. These “molecular jackhammers” don’t need toxic drugs or radiation. Instead, they vibrate so fast when hit by near-infrared light that they tear cancer cells apart from the inside.

The dye, called aminocyanine, is normally used in medical scans. But when light hits it, the molecules start vibrating at a trillion times per second—fast enough to rip cancer cell membranes open without harming nearby healthy cells. In lab tests, 99% of human melanoma cells were destroyed this way. In mice, half the tumors completely disappeared after one treatment, and the rest got smaller.

What makes this method special is that near-infrared light can go deep into the body—up to 10 centimeters—reaching organs and bones without surgery. Plus, since the dye naturally sticks to cancer cells, the treatment is highly targeted.

Unlike traditional treatments, cancer cells can't easily resist being physically torn apart. And since the dye is already FDA-approved for human use in imaging, this could speed up human testing.

This isn’t just about cancer. Another study led by Aston University found that a special kind of light called “twisted light” can travel through skin and tissue without losing its shape. It can detect tiny changes deep in the body—like early signs of inflammation, tumors, or even blood sugar changes—without any cutting or needles.
