Lux Funeral Home is seeking a dependable and compassionate Office Assistant to support our team in a fast-paced, service-centered environment.

This role requires someone who is not only highly organized and detail-oriented, but also able to communicate with grieving families in a calm, professional, and empathetic manner.

• Answering phones and assisting families with sensitivity and respect
• Filing, faxing, scanning, and general office support
• Preparing and editing Word documents, PDFs, JPGs, and video (movie) files
• Coordinating service details and maintaining organized records
• Working closely with staff in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic file formats (PDF, JPG, MP4)
• Comfortable working with families during emotional times
