Hill Country Ear, Nose and Throat is dedicated to providing you with the highest standard of care fo He is a Fellow the American College of Surgeons.

Hill Country ENT treats pediatric and adult patients and accepts Medicare and most commercial carriers. Dr. Lano is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, which serves the specialty of Otolaryngology — Head and Neck Surgery. He is also certified as a Diplomate, American Board of Otolaryngology in Sleep Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. He is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. Dr. Lano completed residency training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. There he completed two years of general surgery training followed by four years of otolaryngology/head and neck surgery. Dr. Lano completed medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas in Austin.

Despite what you may have heard, do not use cotton swabs to remove ear wax! Cotton swabs can push the ear wax even farther into your ear canal, making it more likely to get impacted. We recommend using over-the-counter ear drops to soften the wax so it can drain naturally.

We're thrilled to welcome Angel, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, to our practice. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from UT Health San Antonio and is fluent in Spanish.
